Several pieces of expensive jewellery were stolen in a burglary in Sale this week.
Dress rings, earrings and a necklace were among the items taken in a daylight robbery which took place in Norris Road on Thursday. The thieves were thought to have been at the property for just 25 minutes between 1130 and 1155.
They smashed through the panel of the front door and reached in to unlock it. During the raid they ripped the house alarm from the wall before they took several items from the property.
Police are now asking the public to get in touch if they see any of the pieces photographed on websites or if they are offered to them. It’s understood the jewellery is of great sentimental value because some of it was bought by the owner’s parents who have recently passed away and she is obviously devastated at their loss.
Two of the men involved in the burglary are described as white, 30-40yrs, short brown hair wearing black track suit. The second is also white younger in age, also wearing black track suit, hooded top and was wearing gloves.
