Organisers of the 7th Sale Beer Festival say that its now become their most popular event..
The festival was top of the hops at Sale’s Masonic Hall, in Tatton Road, at the weekend and offered forty beers and ciders from across the UK.
“We are a family run business, and have had a lot of fun over the last seven years, bringing friends and family from all over the country to help us out.”say the company – Fancy A Beer Mate, who have seen the Festival grow bigger every year.
“We now have two settled fixtures each year in Sale, which has become our most popular event, and we see similar faces returning to join in our weekends.”
Highlight of the Festival was a rhubarb cider from Yorkshire making its first appearance, and a local beer produced by Dunham Massey Brewing. They say in the catalogue: “We have produced a limited number of experimental brews using brand new English hop varieties. It’s resinous, tastes like grapefruit and is spicy.”
