What do remember of old Sale?  The TwoByTwo art group want to hear your memories for a project celebrating Sale’s heritage.

‘They could be from a time or a place that you recall. Maybe it’s nostalgia for an old cafe, a shop, or an iconic building like the Odeon cinema or an event that you remember happening in town, please get in touch,” says Anna Chopping of TwoByTwo.

They are distributing hundreds of postcards, in conjunction with The Square Shopping Centre, and want people to record their memories.

‘They just have to write down sentence or two, or more if they want,  saying ‘I remember  when….’ We will compile all these memories to eventually construct a memory wall.  We have found people love talking about their past, and sharing with future generations,” says Zoe Taylor, from TwoByTwo.

The Square Shopping Centre will have special postboxes for your memories.
