The search is on to find a hero in Sale.
The Sale Rotary Club wants to hear from you to find this year’s “unsung hero” – someone who has championed the town in the past year.
The ‘Tom Morris Community Award’ is given to someone who gives dedicated community service to Sale and makes the town a better place to live.
The late Tom Morris, was a well-known and liked member and former President of the Sale Rotary Club, and he is remembered in this award
‘It is a people’s award for normally unsung heroes who do so much work for the community without thinking, who go the extra mile, and believe in what they do. It could be anyone,” said a spokesman for the Rotary Club.
The common link lies in work that helps improve the future of our community. This year’s winner could be from any area of local life.
To make a nomination, send full contact details of the nominee, as well as your details, along with a description of the individual nominated, and the reason for your nomination – no longer than 300 words.
