Thieves have taken a saxophone among items stolen from a house in Reading Drive in Sale.
‘”The owner is distraught. The saxophone is quite distinctive and has a great deal of sentimental value,” said a police spokesman.
Police believe the burglary occurred between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on the 29th June when thieves smashed through the rear patio door and internal glass doors to gain entry.
”The offenders searched the inside of the address before making off with a number of items including Lenovo and IBM tablets and the saxophone,” said the spokesman. ‘Please call us on the 101 non-emergency line, or crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 if you have any information,”
