Pupils had a day that they will never forget at Park Road School in Sale.
The whole school took part in a Science City 2016 day…with parents from Science backgrounds and boffins contributing to the teaching and experiments.
Liz Jones, the Science Co-Ordinator, at the School:”The children had a wonderful time learning about science in a very practical way. It was very hands-on with every class doing experiments. We devoted the whole day to science.”
Year 3 learnt how to make robots out of toothbrushes, Year 5 took their own fingerprints in the Forensic Class, the Reception year tried experiments with bubbles, but the biggest hit of the day was Class 8 discovering the way human bones go together in a skeleton.
