A daughter has asked the Sale Today readers for help in finding her mum’s wedding and engagement rings which she lost while she was out in Sale.Sue Breen says her mum Ann Dyson lost the ring yesterday either on The Avenue in Sale or on the bus she took into Sale. It was the 245 service which goes from Altrincham to the Trafford Centre at around 2pm.

The gold and diamond rings hold special memories of 50 years of married life

Sue said: “I’ve tried the police station and the bus company and now a I’m hoping for a miracle. My dad only passed away at the end of April and the reason the rings fell off is due to all the weight she’s lost during this hard time.

”If anyone can share this message and see what happens. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. Can life get harder?”  Ann, who has moved back to Sale from the Lake District where she lived for 18 years with her late husband Roy, would have been celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in September.

The rings are both gold with a diamond in the engagement ring.  Anyone finding them should hand them in to the police station in Altrincham or contact us here at Sale Today and we will put Sue in touch with you.  Email sale@hyperlocaltoday.co.uk.
