Police appeal for help after burglary in Washway Road in Sale

Police are warning people to be vigilant after another burglary in Sale.

The thieves broke into a house in Washway Road by breaking the rear patio doors yesterday morning. Sale Today has reported a spate of burglaries in the area this Summer where thieves use this kind of method to gain access.

A GMP spokesman said:” The offender and offenders, have smashed the rear patio door window gaining entry to the property, several items have been stolen.

“Any information please contact 101 or anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
