A BMW estate car was stolen overnight after a burglary in South Grove in Sale
The thieves broke into a home and stole the car. A GMP police spokesman said:” The blue BMW Estate 520 car was stolen – its registration number is MT12 ABX. Please keep a look out and if spotted please ring 101.”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.
The memorial reads:
