Another car stolen in house burglary in Sale

An Audi estate car was taken in a burglary overnight in Sale.

A GMP spokesman said:”A grey Audi A4 Estate,registration number – FY63 YUJ – was taken in a burglary in Leith Avenue, Sale at 3.35am today. They have smashed the rear patio window to obtain vehicle keys. The vehicle is still outstanding, please call 101 if you see it or have any information.”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
