Three Audi cars are stolen overnight from Sale home

Three Audi cars were stolen overnight during a burglary on Hunston Road in Sale.

A GMP spokesman said:”A grey Audi A6, DG64 UUW, an orange Audi TT R17 YET and a white Audi A1 R888 YET were stolen.”

Police have not released further details of the thefts at the moment, but Sale Today has reported several thefts of cars from homes in Sale in recent months.

“If you spot these vehicles or have any information, please call us on 101, or crime stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111,” said the spokesman.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
