Quad bike seized by police officers after it was driven “anti-socially” in Sale Moor

A quad bike has been seized by police officers in Sale after they saw it being driven in what they described as an anti-social way.

The incident happened in Hoylake Road, Sale Moor this afternoon. The bike was later loaded on to a lorry and taken away.

A man was arrested for allegedly obstructing a police officer and driving offences.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
