“There is currently burglary spike in Trafford South – two addresses were broken into in Timperley – in Victoria Road and Green Drive,” said a GMP spokesman.

“A Citroen Relay 35 van was stolen from a home on Park Avenue, Sale after 1am this morning. ”The offender/s, have forced entry to the property via a kitchen window. They took a white Citroen Relay 35 – LD10 LZT with large lettering on the side for UKS Mobility.

“And there was an attempted burglary in Dane Road, Sale at 3.20 am yesterday when offender/s forced the rear French style doors, activating the house alarm, but nothing was stolen.”
