Monday bin collection? Remember to put your bins out despite Bank Holiday

It seems a while since the last Bank Holiday which was back in May so we thought we should remind you again about Monday bin collections.

If you normally have your bins collected on a Monday then they will be emptied tomorrow even though it is a Bank Holiday.

Householders are reminded that their bins should be out by 0630 tomorrow if they are normally done on Monday.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
