Residents in Sale Moor will have their chance to have their say on the future options of the Warrener Street car park site at a drop-in session tomorrow evening.

Kirkland Developments won approval of their plans for the development of  supermarket on the car park despite strong  local opposition in a rowdy planning meeting.

But Trafford Council retains ownership of the land and last year the Council leader, Sean Anstee,  refused to sell the land, in an earlier planning application.

Now the Council have appointed  Cushman and Wakefield, as consultants, to undertake an independent Options and Feasibility Study of the Warrener Street site in order to inform and determine its future potential.

In a leaflet, circulated in the Sale Moor area, Cushman and Wakefield  say:”We are keen to hear your views about the emerging options.

“The Warrener Street car par site and its adjoining plots together form an important gateway to Sale Moor Village, creating an opportunity to enhance perceptions and attract more people to stop, dwell and spend locally.

“Please join us and have your say at a drop-in session at Sale High School, Norris Road, Sale anytime between 4.30pm and 7pm Tuesday 13th September.”
