Sale man arrested as part of an organised crime swoop in the North West

A Sale man has been arrested as part of a police  raid, which also arrested nine others, at addresses in Merseyside and Manchester.

The North West Regional organised crime unit (TITAN) led the raids and arrested eight men, and two women,  after executing eight search warrants across Merseyside and Manchester in relation to the supply of Class A drugs, yesterday.

Those arrested, aged between 27 and 56, have been taken to police stations across Manchester where they will be interviewed by detectives.

One man is from Sale, a woman is from Stretford, another woman from Wythenshawe, three of the men are from the Miles Platting area of Manchester, and one from Childwall, Liverpool. Two other men were also arrested who were originally from Manchester and Liverpool .

The unit is not releasing anymore information at the present time over the arrests.
