Two cars were stolen from a house in Conway Road in Sale at the weekend after thieves used a ”a hook and cane” device to retrieve the keys.
A police spokesman said:”A burglary occurred on Saturday evening on Conway Road in Sale. The offender/s used a Hook and Cane type device to retrieve two sets of house and car keys that were hanging in the kitchen area.

“Two motor vehicles were stolen, which are still outstanding: A black Merecdes Benz, C Class, and a black Renault Clio. Please call 101 or call anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 if you have any information.”
