“Because China has no national health service and Adam has no medical insurance we have launched a crowdfunding page to try to help with the medical bills. We think the medical fees will be about £30,000 or more. It is quite devastating.” said Kate.

Adam has been living and working as an English teacher in China,  for the last eighteen months.

Kate said:”We’ve launched a JustGiving page and we’ve had a brilliant response from people who know Adam in Sale and complete strangers. I would like to say a special thank you to them,” said Kate.  “We want to try and raise any money we can to help Adam and his parents to fund any of his care. The recovery from this first operation is three months so you can imagine the spiralling costs his parents are facing. It’s a living nightmare for us all. We would appreciate any help.”
