An off road motorcyclist is seriously ill in hospital with life threatening injuries after a collision in Northern Moor.
The 29-year-old man was taken to hospital with severe injuries to his head, leg and body and has what police say are life-threatening injuries.
The incident happened at 7.45 pm on Thursday night when the man was riding a KTM motorbike along Wythenshawe Road. His bike was in collision with a grey Vauxhall Astra travelling in the opposite direction. The impact threw him off the bike.
Police sergeant Paul Higgins from the GMP Serious Collision Unit said:”The man riding the bike suffered serious injuries and is currently in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
“The collision happened at a relatively early time in the evenings we believe there may have been people around who witnessed this.”
