Farmers’ Market heading for Sale this Saturday…

Fresh produce will be the order of the day as the next Sale Farmers’ Market rolls into town on Saturday.

The popular market will be starting at 9am and running through until 5pm and will take over the Square and Mall with stalls and tables.

Date for your diary – the organisers say that the Christmas Market will be held on November 26th.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:

In honour of the allied airmen whose aircraft crashed on this site 3rd August 1943
