Once there used to be two choices of wine for a festive meal… red or white. These days it seems our palates are ever more sophisticated and choosing a wine to suit an event can take time. Which is why The Sale Winter Wine Fair might be the best starting point.
Cork of the North, based in Northenden Road, Sale, hosted a similar event in Summer which proved popular amongst those who know what they like and those who wanted to be educated. This time there is the chance of tasting from 60 or more wines for the festive season and a chance to buy gifts too.
The event will be held at Sale Town Hall on Tuesday November 22 from 7.30pm until 10pm. Tickets are £15 per person and available from Cork of the North or by calling 0161 962 6263. BUT we at Sale Today have two tickets to give away for the event. All you need to do is answer the following question.
