[dropcap type “circles]A Sale woman is recovering after being assaulted by three men who threatened her with a machete and then tasered her at a burglary in Claremont Road.
Police have only just released the news of the burglary which happened last Friday at 1.20am when three masked men forced entry into her home.
They went upstairs and threatened a woman living at the address with a machete and a taser.
After demanding money, the men punched the woman in the face twice and tasered her.
They used the victim’s car to get away having stolen the keys from inside. The woman is in her 30s.
Detective Inspector Simon Akker, of GMP’s Trafford Borough, said: “This was a terrifying attack which has left the woman utterly traumatised.
“Fortunately, she has not suffered any serious injuries.
“I am appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who believes they have any information about this crime, to please get in touch.”
