Sale is looking forward to a weekend of festive fun with a Christmas market, and Santa selfies, and the official switching of the Christmas lights.
The town centre will be packed with events, and the organisers are predicting it will be a Christmas cracker.
The fun starts in the Square Shopping Centre at 11.30am and runs throughout the day
Alongside the entertainment will be market stalls, festive fun and a dazzling array of lights and decorations and the big switch on is scheduled for 3.45pm
The arts group – , Two by Two – will be playing hosts to an all day party at Sale Library from 11a,m
They are having a Santa Selfie photo booth and face painting, and storytelling under the watchful eye of Ronnie the Reindeer. Food and drink will be provided by Vao restaurant.
The highlight of the day will be visit from the real Santa who also has a pop up Grotto .
