The family of Alfie the missing terrier will walk around Sale Water Park tomorrow to keep the hope alive that they will find their beloved pet.

The Jack Russell terrier has been lost since he was spooked by a firework in the the run up to Bonfire Night.

Together with friends, family and strangers moved by his story, they have tried to find him themselves by going out at night in areas where there may have been sightings. Yet despite that and a huge campaign on social media Alfie remains lost.

Alfie is still missing - his family think he is coming out of shelter to look for food at night

Despite a huge response from the community Alfie has still not been found

As part of the Awareness Walk for Alfie Campaign, Alfie’s owners,  the Collier family from Sale, will meet tomorrow at the Boathouse Restaurant at 1100  before starting off on their walk.  Over 50 people have registered on Facebook that they want to take part, but that number could increase overnight. Anyone wanting to join them should met them there.  Dogs owners are welcome to bring their own pets too.
