Wet nose day! GMP reveal a new recruit heading for the streets of Sale…..

Meet one of the latest recruits to join GMP!

All together now - Aaaaaaah! — All together now – Aaaaaaah!

He is one of a litter of six German Shepherd pups born at the Force’s dog training centre just before Christmas.

”They were born on 15 November to mum Dizzy and father Zane. The puppies will soon begin the training programme that will – if successful – see them become the next generation of general purpose working police dogs in our area,” said a police spokesman.

The pups are currently settling in to their new home and slowly becoming more independent and like all pups, they just love to play.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
