A group of men were seen trying handles of cars in Beechfield Close, Sale in the middle of the night this week prompting police to remind residents not to leave valuables in vehicles.
The men, described by police as suspicious were driving around in a silver Renault estate at 1 am, and were seen getting out to try the car handles of vehicles parked in the Close.
A police spokesperson said: “Never leave anything valuable in your vehicle overnight and try not to leave anything on show. Always report suspicious activity to 101 or if you witness crime in progress dial 999.
