[dropcap type “circles”]Two men have been charged with firearms offences after officers executed a warrant at a house in Sale.
Michael Patrick, aged 59 and Aron Patrick 25, both from Sale, have been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence and possession of a class B drug with the intent to supply.
They remain in custody and appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Then Court was told police were called shortly before 11.55pm on Wednesday 1 February 2017, to reports of a group of men fighting at a social club on Alphonsus Street, Old Trafford.
On arrival, it was established that a firearm had been discharged and a number of bullets were recovered from the scene. No one was injured.
On Saturday 4 February 2017, following enquiries, officers executed a warrant at a house in Sale. A firearm was recovered and two men were arrested.
