It’s lovely weather for …. Geese! It seems that a gaggle of Canada geese are wintering in balmy Sale – at least for now. They were enjoying a noisy lunch on the Bridgewater canal today with some wintry sunshine breaking through.
But night time temperatures will be dipping below zero by the end of the week with daytime figures not reaching more than 4C, so obviously Springtime is still some way off.
