State-of-the-art care home in Ashton-on-Mersey to advertise 80 jobs

A purpose built care home is due to open in Sale in Spring and is advertising 80 jobs ranging from nursing posts to hair stylists.

The owners say the Ashland Manor, in Ashton-on-Mersey, is state of the art and will  be a 57 bed facility with communal lounges,  formal dining rooms and gardens.  All bedrooms will have ensuite wet rooms and offer a host of hotel-style services including “fine dining”, a hair salon, nail bar, and concierge.

The Altrincham-based New Care company  has launched its latest recruitment programme so staff can be in place when Ashland Manor opens.  They have vacancies across the board including medical, hospitality and administrative roles.

On the medical side, they need  nurses, senior carers and care assistants.  The company also needs receptionists, administrators, maintenance, chefs, kitchen porters, laundry assistants and housekeepers on the hospitality and catering side.

With a hair salon and nail bar located within the new home, the team will also require hairstylists and beauty therapists.

The company say they will work closely with Trafford College and offer career progression through NVQs for those who would like to develop their careers.
