L-driver threatened by motorist in road rage attack along Washway Road

Police are asking for help in identifying the driver of  grey Saab who threatened a Learner driver in rush hour traffic.

They say the incident happened between 0855 and 0930 on Monday morning.

Police say the incident happened with an altercation outside Barclays in Northenden Road.

The incident started when there was a row over a parking space outside Barclays Bank, in Northenden Road,  Sale.  Both drivers were in their cars during the row, when the learner was threatened.

The driver of the Saab followed the L-driver to Washway Road and followed him  down the A56 acosting him at several points until the cars had reached the Sale junction of the M60.

Greater Manchester Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the altercation to call 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymousl  on 0800 555 111.
