Police hunt for Sale man after assault and robbery from the Co-Op store in Northenden Road

Police are asking for the public’s help to trace a man, who is wanted in connection with an assault in Sale and a series of thefts from the Co-Op store in Northenden Road.

Connor Kedie is wanted in connection with an assault and several thefts in the Sale area

Officers want to find Connor Kedie, aged 19, in connection with an assault and several thefts at the Co-Op store on Northenden Road on Sunday 26 March 2017.

A spokesman for GMP said: “He is believed to have links to the Trafford area and was last known to be living in Sale.

”Anyone with any information about Kedie’s whereabouts, or recognises him, should call police on 101.”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
