Stolen puppy Bobbie has been found safe and well

Some good news to start your week. Bobbie the five month old puppy, who had been stolen during a burglary in Stretford has now been returned to his owners safe and sound!

Many Sale Today readers were keeping an eye out for him. Bobbie was found wandering the streets in Withington. He was taken to a vets. A scan revealed he had been microchipped and the delighted owners were reunited with Bobbie.

A GMP spokesman said:” Thanks to everyone who shared the post on Facebook and to the people who found him. The owners are very happy and relieved..”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
