Two men were arrested in Sale, on suspicion of robbery in early morning police raids today.
A spokesman from GMP said:”Several teams of officers left Altrincham Police Station this morning to effect arrest attempts, targeting suspected criminals in the Trafford South area.
”During the arrests this morning in Sale, property was seized from the houses . A quantity of drugs were also seized.”
A man was arrested on Haydock Avenue, and second man was detained in Epsom Avenue in Sale, on suspicion of robbery
“The arrests this morning have been made possible due to evidence gathering and also intelligence received from members of the public, we urge you to report any suspicious circumstances on the 101 number or you can report anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
“Every little bit of information can greatly assist when piecing together evidence to arrest and charge an offender.
“We will continue to do our best to protect our communities and local businesses, and you can help.”
