Ben Hall, the internationally renowned Natural History photographer, has been booked as part of the Sale Festival celebrations this year.
Ben will give a talk about his life and passion for photography on Tuesday 13th June at 7.30pm in the Robert Bolt theatre at the Sale Waterside.
A spokesman for Sale Photographic Society says:”Ben Hall has gained worldwide recognition as one of Britain’s foremost professional wildlife photographers. He is immensely experienced, is an amiable and thought-provoking speaker, and his winning images feature regularly in photographic journals and magazines such as BBC Wildlife, Practical Photography, Outdoor Photography, Photography Monthly and Cheshire Life, to name but a few. With a lifelong passion for the natural world, Ben has used his skill in photography to capture many stunning images. He is driven by the need to protect and preserve Britain’s last fragile ecosystems, as testified by his work for the RSPB, various Wildlife Trusts and other conservation organisations.
“His talk entitled “Moments in Nature” is an stunning encounter with the Natural History and Landscape of his travels around the world, and is guaranteed to leave audiences spellbound!”
The spokesman added:”As this event is part of Sale Festival, we are fortunate enough to have the use of the main Robert Bolt theatre at Sale Waterside Arts Centre to host the event, so hopefully we will have a large audience for Ben. The ticket cost will be £ 6 each, and are available from the box office at the Waterside Theatre, and also via the Waterside website. I believe you can also pick them up on the night if you wish, if there are any left.”
