Tenth arrest made by police investigating the Manchester Arena bombing

[dropcap type “circles]Police  say the have arrested a man in the Moss Side area of Manchester in connection with Monday’s attack at the city’s Arena venue.

He is one of eight men now in custody as part of the investigation, Greater Manchester Police.

Police believe  Salman Abedi, 22 from a family of Libyan origin, the suicide bomber acted as part of a network.

In total, 10 people have been arrested in the UK but two were later released.

The UK terror threat level remains “critical” – meaning another attack could be imminent.

Police  searched an address in St Helens, Merseyside, in connection with the attack earlier today.

And residents who were moved from their homes in Wigan on Thursday night, while armed police and a bomb disposal unit searched a house, have been allowed to return..
