It Don’t Mean A Thing….to the Ashton on Mersey Showband

It don’t mean a thing…if it ain’t got that swing-so they say, and The Ashton-on-Mersey Showband are living proof of that.

The Showband has been playing music to the people of the North-West of England since it began in 1973. It has played in countries across Europe and in America and raised almost £1,000,000 for UK charities. It currently comprises of over 30 musicians of outstanding calibre, who give their time and efforts for free.

Now the Summer Season sees them performing in Hale and Sale Waterside in the next few weeks.

They will be performing music from the 60’s  and popular musicals at St Peter’s School Rooms. in Hale, on June 3rd at 7.30pm and appearing at Sale Waterside Theatre on June 24th.
