Two more cars are stolen in overnight burglary in Sale

Two more cars have been stolen in Sale overnight in a burglary.

Four cars have been stolen since Saturday in burglaries in the town.

The two cars were taken during a burglary on Grosvenor Road in Sale. A spokesman for GMP said:” The cars were stolen between 5pm Tuesday evening and 8am this morning . The thieves gained entry by damaging the rear patio doors.”

A Black Mercedes CLS, registration number – MK17 AVB was taken along with a Grey Ford ECO Sport, – BK16 EFE.

Police ask if you spot the vehicles or have any information, to contact them by ringing 101.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
