Sale Brass Band battled the wind and rain to give a stunning concert at Worthington Park on Sunday. The concert, funded by ‘Make Sale Smile’ and Friends of Worthington Park, entertained the locals despite the wet weather.
An appreciative audience were treated to a mixture of classics such as ‘Orange Juice’ (‘Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez’) from the film ‘Brassed Off’ and cover versions of chart tunes such as Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ and Meghan Trainor’s ‘All About That Bass.’
The band has been going for 150 years.
