Appeal for witnesses after car stolen in Sale burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Sale where a car was stolen overnight.

A GMP spokesman said:”The car was stolen during a burglary which occurred overnight on St Marys Road in Sale. The offenders forced entry through a front window of the property and keys were accessed before offenders made off in the vehicle…

“The car was an Audi A4 in Grey, registration number MM64 KPX

“Please call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you have any information. ”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
