Police appeal to the public for help in tracking down a wanted man in Sale…

Police have an arrest warrant for man who failed to appear in court. They are asking for the public’s help and tracing him.

Mathew Davenport , aged 28, is known in the Sale area. Police have issued this photograph of Davenport.

A GMP spokesman said: ” Please call us on 101 if you spot him or have any information about his whereabouts.”

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
