The annual Christmas fixture will be against Bath Rugby on the weekend of 22-24 December at the AJ Bell Stadium, before travelling to Gloucester Rugby on the weekend of 29-31 December to round off 2017. The Sharks start 2018 with a home game against Harlequins on 5-8th January 2018.

Steve Diamond’s men will finish their season at home to Leicester Tigers on Saturday 5th May.

Speaking about the fixture launch, Steve Diamond said: “It is a really good start for the side, as we look to fight back from a disappointing season last time around. The league has never been tougher, with all teams recruiting strongly so every minute will matter this time up. It’s a huge advantage for the side to have two of their opening three games at home, and we hope with the signings that Simon Orange and Ged Mason have made, the fans will back the side as we look to finish high in the table.”
