Detectives have a released this E-fit picture who carried out a burglary on a house in Cranleigh Drive in Sale.
The man was disturbed by the householder during the burglary. The terrified householder was locked inside his bedroom while the man ransacked his house.
A spokesman for GMP said:”The 30 year old man heard someone downstairs at about 2am. He shouted down to the burglar to leave his property. The thief then threatened to hurt him if he didn’t go back upstairs. The man eventually fled the property via the front door with car keys after locking the homeowner inside, Detectives have now released an E-fit picture in the hope that someone might recognise him. The incident occurred on June 22.
Detective Constable Deborah Humphreys, said:”People should feel safe in their own home and to catch a burglar rifling through your personal belongings is understandably upsetting.
“I’m hoping that someone might recognise the man or have any information about the incident. You might have seen a man acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the offence – if so please get in touch.
