Police appeal for witnesses after car stolen overnight in Sale

Police are appealing for witnesses after a grey BMW X4, registration number C10 KPS was stolen from Meadway in Sale.

If you have any information about the robbery or see the car, please call 101 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
