Police are appealing for help in tracing a car and van stolen in separate burglaries in Sale overnight.
A spokesman for GMP said:”A Mercedes A Class in Grey, ML66 ZJX was stolen on Carlton Road in Sale. The offenders used the ‘Hook and Cane’ method to retrieve the vehicle keys through the letterbox.
“And a white Transit van – registration number – KR12 LLW was stolen just after 11pm from Firs Road in Sale. An unknown implement was used to gained entry to and start the vehicle. The offenders made off in the van towards Manor Road.
