Police are warning members of the public to beware of a man they wish to question about the murder of a young Sale Moor father.
They have named him as Tyronne Patrick, aged 32, from the Trafford area.
First aid was administered by officers at the scene before he was taken to hospital where he died.
Detective Inspector Andy Butterworth, of GMPs major incident team, said: “Members of the public are advised not to approach him and we are asking anyone with information or who may have seen Tyronne Patrick to please contact us.
“Anything you know, no matter how small, may be a key piece of information. This has been a fast moving enquiry and we have a significant number of officers trying to locate this man.”
A 31-year-old man and a 16-year old boy were arrested on suspicion of murder and have been bailed pending further enquiries. Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 6493 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
