Police are keeping to a different beat in Sale Moor and drumming up support by teaching youngsters new skills.

This video reveals PCSO Stubbs hitting the high and low notes in a session designed to keep the youngsters off the streets.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:

In honour of the allied airmen whose aircraft crashed on this site 3rd August 1943
