Friends stage a moving tribute to Caspar with cars and fireworks

Hundreds of car enthusiasts said their farewell to Caspar Blackburn at a rally, with their cars on display, and fireworks this week.

They gathered for their tribute at Sale Waterpark . Billy Hayes said the event raised £1183.34 for Caspar. He was a popular member of the car cruising scene.

Caspar’s best friend Billy Heyes, published three videos of the events on his Facebook page. It includes footage taken by drone camera from Xavier Georgiou.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:

In honour of the allied airmen whose aircraft crashed on this site 3rd August 1943
