A black BMW X6 has been stolen from a house on Chestnut Drive on the West Timperley/Sale border.

The vehicle registration number is BU14 VZT.

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:
