It’s a Wonderful Life… in Sale Moor

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in Sale Moor…..

The people at ‘We Are Sale Moor” are running a pop-up cinema showing It’s A Wonderful Life – it’s a real Christmas classic – next Saturday, December 9th.

There will be 2 screenings this time, first viewing at 3:30pm and then later on at 7:30pm, doors will open 30 minutes prior.
There will be mulled wine, mince pies and a bar with both soft and alcoholic drinks on sale.
Eventbrite bookings: Adults £5 and Child £3
Paper tickets from Topteir cakes: Adults £4.00 and Child £2.00
To help make Sale Moor Sparkle enter our Christmas raffle for lots of fantastic prizes including a £100 cash prize

WALTON PARK WIMPY MEMORIAL: A new war memorial has been unveiled in Walton Park, to commemorate the aircrew who crash-landed there on the third of August 1943, killing two Australian airmen.

The memorial reads:

In honour of the allied airmen whose aircraft crashed on this site 3rd August 1943
