From 10.30am onwards right up until 5.30pm there will something for children and adults to do in the run up to the lights switch on and the arrival of Santa.

One of the main venues will be The Square where festivities get under way with a series of group entertainment from local music  and dance groups.

Meanwhile at the Sale Waterside Library,  Two by Two leads off the day with a Bear Workshop.  There will also be mulled wine and festive food, face painting and sparkle and Santa’s Festive Photobooth.

If you still aren’t feeling Christmassy by then, the carol singers and the bell ringers get started on their Christmas performances from 3.30 pm, heralding the arrival of Santa.
